Problem with IEM in games
So I recently bought an IEM (Sennheiser IE200) because wearing a headset for long periods of time began to give me headaches and I have this weird problem where all sorts of voices and some sound/menu effects are super muted, just very quiet random, metallic sounding gibberish in the background, but the music and ambient sounds are loud and crisp.

Bear in mind that my knowledge in the Hifi world other than plugging a headset into a USB port is basically zero, but I connected the IEM to the front headphone jack of my PC, Windows asked me what device I plugged in and I chose ‘headphones’.

The voices which I tested that are affected:

-all videos on YT, etc
-unit selection sounds in RTS games and old RPG like Baldurs Gate
-noises due to becoming aware of the player/death screams in Souls games

I’d appreciate any help guys.

Are you plugging into onboard sound? Do you have a separate soundcard to plug into?
I have my Linsoul KZ ZS10 Pro IEMs plugged into my Creative G8 with no audio issues.
Could also be a weird setting with your IEMs or they have a quality issue.

The only think I can think of is maybe you have Spatial Sound (Windows Sonic for Headphones) enabled ?
