how did you install windows if you had black screen?
you could just start trouble shooting by going back to when your pc was able to boot into windows and then gradually swap out to the newer components
if you installed windows on your old pc ie old motherboard you may want to install it again with the new mobo
This is PC from 2019 when I had iGPU-APU so I decided to change my CPU and put external GPU now, installed windows before when there wasn't black screen and when I used old CPU and old motherboard and im using same old SSD drive which works fine and has windows already
so everything works using the old CPU?
have you tried manually updating BIOS instead of using the D-flash button?
Removed CMOS battery as well and connected HDMI cable to my GPU and it still says input not supported or no signal
also forgot to mention I pressed fn + delete or fn + f2 keys, even f12 and still no BIOS screen or settings.
newer gpus will only output to one during post/boot until windows gpu driver enables the other displays
unplug all other displays
test the display with another pc or console
can you access the displays osd menus?
ouch
I would never get rid of the old cpu until I'm sure the new one works with the mobo
Did you change anything in the bios? Like enabling XMP etc.?
So you got the motherboard in 2019? And then tried to update BIOS to get the 5xxx series working?
only thing you can do is rma back to gigabyte if its under warranty

Maybe, could always try and flash again too.
My guess is he sold the old CPU before putting in the new one so couldn't ever enter the BIOS with the new CPU.
Also there are 5 revisions of that board, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 have the same BIOS but 1.3 has it's own as does 1.4 by the looks of it, did he pick the right one...
Is there any light on the motherboard when it's on? white? red? green? error code if you have one?
Is your screen a standard monitor or a tv? Do you have any other monitor to test?
There is no way to fix an aborted bios update now because his motherboard doesn't have a bios flashback option.
