windows 11: ssues with brightness
I just installed Windows 11 on my new PC and I have a problem with the brightness, which turns off and on at will. Obviously, I thought adaptive brightness was turned on, but the problem is that it won't let me access the brightness settings. I've tried several tutorials and can't solve the problem. Any suggestions?

I don't have W11 so can't say much, but start by checking GPU drivers and software.
Restart the PC. Go to the BIOS settings and wait. If the brightness is swinging there too, then obviously it's not a Windows 11 problem since you said your PC is new too.

It can be due to monitor cable pins being broken, so try another monitor cable. Unplug your monitor cable and look at the pins; you may be able to fix the position of the bent pin with a needle.

It can be due to the VGA slot too if monitor settings are not an issue; someone may have badly assembled your new hardware.

When say "PC", can I assume that you mean "laptop"? If so, does it feature an OLED display?
Install Linux Mint.
Dynamic lighting setting. Press windows key and type brightness then click on change lighting colours brightness and effects
