All the reasons why Microsoft sabotages Windows.
Write freely all the alleged and unrealistic reasons why Microsoft no longer wants to see Windows work.

For me, it means thinking about a greener world, fighting pollution and energy consumption by encouraging people to leave their homes. There are too many gamers with few children, and that's not good.

Microsoft cannot compete with the world and artificial intelligence, so it wants to shift all responsibility for security, even if this is already reserved for third parties.

Try to increase breaks at work by locking down the terminals.

It doesn't earn as much as Nvidia, so it holds a grudge. There are too many Nvidia graphics cards in PCs. And we know that AMD works better with Linux.

When you realize Windows 10's GUI is taking around 500MB which clearly is not enough for functionality.
I don't want to guess how much Windows 11 is using, but surely coping Apple who are selling 8GB laptops while their OS in idle takes 6GB.
Why is that?
Because the more RAM used = less RAM wasted,
so it makes it greener.

Maybe we need many more editions again. Players... the world, don't want Copilot or junk that weighs down the system and eats up resources.

And Copilot took months to make.

You can't even ask for a ransom on the stolen files if the system corrupts or deletes them first...

If your system has free memory it will use it, if other programs need memory Windows will give up majority of the memory so you can get more.

The primary memory has to be used for executing programs but instead they gamble for unguaranteed hit rates. The most cost effective caching size is around 256MB-1GB max and beyond that it's diminishing returns. Stupid stuff indeed.

I use Linux so I can stop being inside of the Microsoft ecosystem, I’ve seen it go downhill and don’t mind leaving a mega corporation behind since me as an individual doesn’t actually effect any sort of statistic, I can come and go and the only thing changing is me being advertised to or not.

Saying Linux is for the criminals kinda sounds like someone inside microsoft made a brain worm copy pasta.

Windows is the best way to connect any sort of user data. Could have easily been a better world if Microsoft didn’t have a buyout number for anyone like macafee to waltz right in.

No wonder considering LLM is using at least 20x more electricity for the same task.

It's not a bubble. OpenAI is losing money while other (AI) companies are prospering. It's a market share shift, it's not because AI is failing.

I'm 500% sure Copilot is using OpenAI model.
Meta developed Llama but they don't have it as a service.
Gemini has waaaaaay smaller userbase and harder to track of how it is doing as a service but considering how they're using it in Google searches then I won't be suprised that might be losing money.
