i dont need advice on the build only on the gpu, i have choosen 9070 xt and sticking with that but need to choose between brands and models, will be playing at 1440p.

You are going to go through hell with that new Motherboard. It is not even stabilized yet with BIOS updates each and every month, sometimes twice in one month so many red flags here but it will stabilize within 1-3 years.

As for the GPU choices, I have not really looked that deep into Radeon RX so maybe best to compare specs.

What I do know is that AMD Radeon RX series is nearing in comparison to Nvidia which is why Nvidia might finally release the long awaited Titan RTX v2, either the 6090Ti or 7090Ti dependent on what AMD releases for their next lineup or after the next lineup.

get the cheapest 9070xt
the only difference is that some may be slightly clocked higher or have more fans.

there's pretty much no reason to pay more.

Get the cheapest 9070 XT. Paying more for a premium model isn't really worth it performance wise.

Get the Sapphire that takes up 3 slots so you feel you are getting more for your money.

Since you're restricted in your choices by a very limited budget, and all these gpus are second or third tier products of their respective manufacturers, not their top models, I think it doesn't matter which you choose.

The higher models cost a little more but they are all far more interesting in their own way. Finally, some models have a 12v 2x6 connector, so you'll need to look out for that.

PowerColor Red Devil OC is actually high tier product and runs on 3 x 8 pin connectors.
Sapphire NITRO+ is another but this runs on 16 pin plug like Nvidia cards.

Seriously though just get the Sapphire Pulse for £555 and put rest of the money into 9800X3D instead of 9700X.
You get lot more benefit from this combo then from little factory overclocked PowerColor Red Devil for £690.

Same thing but different words. Since there is more differentiation in the top models, there is more to talk about.

XFX by have the magnetic fan model, Sapphire have the nitro plus model and Auros have the Elite model, which looks really great.

The Sapphire has a 12v 2x6 connector so I'd recommend a psu with native 12v 2x6 connection.

ok thanks for your replies, yeah thinking i buy the parts minus the gpu for now and get the 9700x as the post by Alice Liddell has worried me about my motherboard and might be better spending as little as possible just incase it all goes wrong. unless someone can suggest me a reliable motherboard, i had spent months trying to decide on a motherboard and the one i had chosen had everything i needed but worried now.

MSI B850 EDGE Ti is mini-ITX motherboard for small form factor builds. Unless you plan to use tiny ITX case in your build (honestly crap idea because of cooling problems and difficulties to build) it`s better to go with decent ATX motherboard like MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI.
It`s also cheaper on top of that.
