A broken Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 with green lines on screen any recovery?
Hey everyone I was wondering is there any sort of way, to recover the contents of a broken phone, I got this very old samsung galaxy j3 back in 2016 and very saddly it broke this year. It wont work anymore, anytime I start it, I keep getting these green lines then the whole screen turns green and then it goes white and flashes, then its all blank. It refuses to start up even with a charger plugged in, is there anyway I could possibly fix it? should I buy a new battery. Any help would be appreciated, there is stuff stored on it, in memory I would like to extract. :FH5Superstar:

a tech repair shop should be able to replace its screen/digitizer
Sounds like it powers on and all just fine. Yes just get with a tech store who can replace the screen. This can easily be done in a few minutes by such a tech.
Fixing the screen will prob cost more than a new phone, but maybe see what it costs to recover data,

Other option is to plug it in your computer with usb cable maybe you get lucky can access the file system.

its not so much the phone but the data on it
samsung screen replacements are fairly easy for a tech shop

new phone isnt 'free' unless the service plan covers it
Yea if it's about the data and tbat wasn't backed up in the cloud. It might be worth it to fix as the data might be precious and priceless to the OP
