and note ddr # is not freq in mhz
ddr # = mhz x 2
ddr 6000 = 3000mhz
check with cpuz to see what its actually running at
compare memory tab (what its at) to spd tab (xmp profiles for each dimm)
#1 being closest to CPU.
Then enable XMP/DOCP
When you save and exit the bios allow a good 5-10 mins for RAM training to occur. Then it should actually POST properly
I did the last thing already yesterday after reading through Reddit Posts/Comments.
Boot into OS and download and extract lateat bios update to uab flash drive or root of your OS drive. Then go into BIOS and update that before you make any BIOS changes
Note: My BIOS is still on Default settings which should've set the RAM Mhz to 4800, as it also shows in Taskmanager.
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here
cl40 is pretty high, did you enable xmp?
And I'd concur something is off when your memory configuration for sure from that CPU-Z pic. CL40 is significantly looser than the CL30 the kit is rated for. Were those with EXPO or when you manually set the memory speeds?
What makes you so sure that I'm lying?
All I was taught by my IT guy to enable EXPO 1 or 2 (whatever is available, 2 preferred) and setting the Memory Freq. to 6000 Mhz.
