Xbox controller linked to FPS issues on PC
I've been having random fps drops in games with very low GPU utilization shortly after playing while My Xbox controller is plugged in or being used in game , apparently this has to do with some driver issue with Microsoft GameInput, how wide spread is this? I was having all sorts of problems until I deleted this APP.

I was also at times , not often but randomly was getting BSOD happen which i have researched can happen with this as well.

I can't remember ever hearing of anyone installing or using that app. You don't need it.

Just use Steam
