SteamDeck LCD vs OLED or Other handheld
Hello everybody. I have a SteamDeck LCD bought almost at launch, but I found myself using it less nowadays due to the poor screen it has.
I was wondering if in you opinion it is worth it to "upgrade" to an OLED model or if it is better to go with a different maker.
I really like SteamOS so I would like it to be officially supported. I suppose the only options now are Legion Go or Legion Go S, right?
What do you suggest?

if you have a capable host pc, you can stream games from it to the deck

with a good setup, it will only be 1-2 frames behind the host
with most games you cant tell you are not even there

there are other hardware differences between the lcd and oled deck versions
its not just a display swap

if you want the oled deck, you will need to buy a new one

If you wan't a handheld device with a decent performance upgrade handhelds with the Ryzen Ai Max series are coming out, Ryzen 390 and 395 are a bit much for a handheld but they are coming, but handheld with the Max 385 make the most sense out of the new APU's I think, I'll keep an eye out for something like that myself, only thing is super pricey.
