Also, what hardware do you have? Specifically motherboard and CPU?
You might need to purchase an actual TPM module depending on the board and CPU. Newer CPUs will have an "fTPM", e.g. a firmware TPM built into the CPU.
To install Windows 11 natively you need to ensure your hardware is fully UEFI compliant (e.g. all of it), configure your UEFI/BIOS to be native UEFI mode only, disable the compatibility support module (CSM), and enable and enroll the default platform Secure Boot keys.
EDIT: The media creation tool should have created the UFD as a UEFI bootable installation media. If you used another system like Rufus you likely didn't set it to make the UFD an EFI bootable device.

Oh crap. Yea, that could be. The SSD drive I want to install to is completely new. Maybe I have to initialize it first?
If you make the USB with MCT while on Legacy BIOS then it's made to boot from Legacy BIOS and not UEFI.
That sounds like the problem. I just remade the usb drive now that I enabled UEFI Windows in the bios and rebooted. Going to try again now.
Yes, That was it. Thank you, sir. I still had to select override boot and do UEFI USB boot from the bios. But now I have a fresh install of Win 11 to play with. I will still keep using my 10 to 11 upgraded disk for the foreseeable future.
Interesting:
1. Why did Win upgrade my 10 to 11 when I did not have UEFI boot enabled?
2. Why did I never enable it?
3. How did the usb get erased?
