Yeah, sure... I bet people said the same thing about XP when they put Win98 into retirement........
This is not a 100% cut off. Why do people do this? Why do people post such BS topics to begin with. People who have absolutely ZERO clue or common sense for what it is they think they know. But is reality they have no idea WTF they're even saying. Like a Bot made you say such stupidity or something
I know I said XP sucked when 98 was retired for sure
Microsoft SAM was one of the worst things ever added to Windows
Edit: Oops, it's still there, so it's one of the worst things that were and still is in Windows.
OMG it will update until Oct 2026.
Just make a 2nd user in Windows and login with your Microsoft account. Then put something you dont mind in the Cloud, into this user Documents folder and do a sync with OneDrive, then opt into the extended support via Windows Updates. Once all done that you can go and delete the user account if you don't want it on that PC. Leaving just your original local user account
Windows 10 is dead. These are the words that their favorite Youtuber will use and that Youtuber may or may not mention the extended updates in the last 10 seconds of the 30 seconds long Youtube Shorts video.
For all practical purposes, Windows 10 is dead and the general userbase will not listen to you. Obviously this echo chamber will.
I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate Windows btw don't think I'm siding with MS's BS.
Win10 is fine the way it is. You can better tweak and optimize it too if needed. And if people find that as true for them, that's all they care about as long as apps and games are working for years to come.
Then again, Win11 has it's own treats for the people. Treats that are in my opinion are great but really just two (2) neat things that I do not believe justify a whole ass OS change.
1 - Revamped old Windows apps
They updated Paint, Explorer, Notepad, etc. They are neat. But that's about it. Neat. Nothing else.
2 - More efficent E-Core usage
Now THIS is something people would like, I think. One doesn't need to know the technical know how to notice the speed ups.
Whatever man I stopped giving a ♥♥♥♥ right as I was writing this very sentence.
The point is, the penguin is calling those that flee the demise of eleven.
