Strange problem with Logitech G502 mouse; game becomes choppy when moving cursor.
I have a Windows 10 operating system (in case that's relevant).

I have a Logitech G502 mouse. It's my main mouse, and it worked fine for most of everything. However, at some point, when I try to play video games on my PC with it, it causes the game to become choppy, but only when the cursor is being moved by the mouse. It's only this particular mouse with the problem too because:

1. When I use other mouses, the problem goes away.
2. When I use my touchpad, the problem goes away.

So it's only this particular mouse with the problem. Anyone have suggestions for how I could fix this?

Used the Spectrum and have a Lightspeed at the moment. Can't say I've encountered this issue. To rule out the software put the mouse into onboard memory mode then close LGS or GHub. Start the game.

Could be the driver/app itself.
Plenty of G502 around, someone should know.
Could also be too high. Some people have reported problems using 1000hz where dropping to 500 or lower can fix the issue. Obviously, it's more of a workaround than a permanent fix, but until the underlined cause is found this maybe the only solution.

I use the same mouse, but I don't install any Logitech software and run it off its onboard memory. I don't have the problem you're experiencing, but I am aware of similar problems and I don't think it's specific to this mouse. Of course, I am just making a vague comparison to problems reported over polling rates. Drop it to 100hz to see if the problems remains.

I dropped the report rate to 250. Solved the problem. Thanks!

Not sure if it is software issue or hardware issue.
But it sounds like software.

So to isolate issue, I'd suggest uninstall G-Hub to test.
If it is still happening, issue is not on G-Hub.

If the issue is gone without G-Hub, it might be G-Hub issue.
Then better to check on G-Hub settings if it is fixable or not.

Uninstall not required. Just put the mouse in on board memory mode then the software is being skipped

OP also hasn't said if it's LGS or Ghub. All G502 can work with LGS with the exception of the wireless Lightspeed version.
