I need some third party steam deck charger recommendations.
Price does not really matter. TIA.

Yea I had a Steam Dock, it was lacking and over-priced.

Any USB-C charger that does 45W or higher should work.

Will 45 be sufficient whilst playing a game or should I go higher as you say?

https://store.steampowered.com/steamdeck

the steam deck is rated to 45w charging.
45w is as fast as you can go.

and yes, since the deck is rated to use 15W maximum.

I use this for my S23 Ultra as it supports Samsungs 45w charging https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B38TWKVR/
Just get a decent USB C cable and you'll be good to go

Adjusted that for ya. 15w is APU only. Total system cap is 25w (though typically 22w or under).

But yeh, any 45w brick will work *SO LONG AS* its fully PD compliant and also supports the same voltage and amperage as the deck's charger.

Some 45w models only support lower voltage higher amperage which the deck cannot do.

Well USB all goes off of 5Volts. Even if the Deck can only charge off a certain wattage cap, tbis allows the hub to charge other devices if you want to, such as your phone for example, at the same time.

USB Type C supports many voltages. Steam Deck charges default at 15v iirc.

Ok yes I see it is possible Steam Deck doing up to around 45 Watts given that the USB Type-C has a range of 5-20 Volts

However you must use a proper Wall Charger for those kinds of ranges.
