I like this idea,

But in general I do agree something more needs to be done with Steam acheievements, some form of score or visibility on your profile.

I think every game sold on Steam should have at least one achievement for simply purchasing it.

yes please, make achievements better.

Make it:
1. more accessible as a menu item in the profile
2. work more reliable, I'm still missing a Bioshock Infinite-achievement even though I made it to get it, and if I wanna to see the achievements of a friend, I get a "page not found"
3. more worth, like with a little sound in combination with the display. Still the best sound has the xbox 360 achievement-system. Why not doing something similar?

Achievements became a really important part of gaming, and its merit should not be taken lightly.

I still like this idea (Happy Dec 30 Necroposting Achievement, its now April). I just hope in whatever changes do come that you can't just barter for or buy an achievement.

its really so stupid - there's an own menu item for these absolutely unimportant steam badges, but none for achievement.

1. I don't wanna see just my achievements, but compare them with friends achievements. I don't care about global stats at all

Hi. My friend edited this image illustrating a concept idea for a achievement display on Profile page. The config menu could be hidden as shown. We like the sound idea, and we think Steam need a little more incentive on editing profiles page.
