Create option to delete items from Download queue
Why is there no option to remove an item from your download queue?

I have always had a list of items in my download queue, around 10-20, for the last several years for updates that I have no intention of downloading anytime soon. I'm tired of seeing them there, let me remove them.

I don't want to have to uninstall a game if I don't feel like playing it anymore or for perhaps a month or more. If I don't uninstall it, I am now bombarded with multiple GB-size patches that I don't want to download yet. If I don't download them.. they just sit there.. and pile up.. FOREVER.

Let me remove it, huh?

in your library, right click the games you don't want auto updating. select Properties, than select the Update tab, then select to not have the game auto update.

If you want to remove the game without having to download all the updates first try this:
Once the game update is paused (and maybe you don't feel like that step) Right click in the library and pick "Delete local conent". That cancels the install and effectively does an uninstall.
