Sometimes you cannot plug in a gamepad after the game has launched, because the handling of gamepads for that game is rubbish. It would be nice if we could just fake the controller even when it isn't plugged in. Also solves the problem of accidentally unplugging it or running out of battery, meaning that you don't have to restart the game.
