Really? Nobody support?

Turning those items into gems give them a monetary value as sacks of gems can be sold on the marketplace. This is something Valve is opposed to, and the vast majority of users are aware of that and know that it's not going to happen.

Yes, even in untranslatable crystals. It's just that the inventory is cluttered, and many frames and stickers are no longer relevant, especially when Steam starts to lag and makes it impossible to use current stickers or even change the profile design. Or just add the ability to clear the inventory yourself, because support used to help with this, but now they just skip your requests and send you away. Even if it's permanent, it's a useful feature.

Unless yur account was phished and the scammer 'cleans up' your inventory with the same mindset as he 'permanently deletes' your games. And yes, the latter happens apparently.

I know, that is why I used '*' but the option was called that for quite some time and some victims of scammers have their games deleted, which they can thankfully restore.
