Dear Steam, please… I beg you… just one button.
Look, Gabe… my PC has 2TB free, my internet is ready, and my patience is not.
Can we finally get a “Download All Updates” button?

I get it — bandwidth, servers, data centers, penguins running the pipes, whatever. But please, let me opt in to chaos. Hide it three menus deep. Add a warning label. Make me type “I accept my fate” before it activates — I don’t care.

Yes, I know the queue system is based on when I last played a game. But Steam, I am the kind of person who might suddenly decide to play a random title from 2015 at 2 a.m. I don’t want to be punished for that level of unpredictability.

Sincerely,
A responsible adult who just wants every game updated for the one-in-a-hundred chance I boot Skyrim for the 47th time to install 300 mods and never play.

When Rona was a thing, this button got removed in an effort to save bandwidth. It won't be coming back.

Many players have disconnected from the server of life due to the spicy flu. Their bandwidth is now ours. Let us honour their sacrifice… with the one true button: ‘Download All Updates.’
Set the priority for your 2015 game to always update immediately.

The Button is unlikely to return in the near future.

You can select all games, rightclick and update all, or install all even.
