Move Dominican Republic to the LATAM-USD region, for pricing
The title. The last time it was suggested that I could find was here. It's not in the list for the LATAM region. I asked Valve support, they told me this was the place to make such suggestion.

Publishers and developers can set prices per region, and the country gets the price of the region it is in. Dominican Republic is using USA region rather than LATAM. Dominican Republic economic indicators aren't comparable to the US. We are worse that some of the countries that are already in the LATAM region.

The Valve / Steam Financial admin team, do not read this steam sub-forum, and this sub-forum is about ideas and suggestions users would like to see valve make to the steam UI on the app, client, websites.

Support sent you here to get rid of you, as they also have nothing to do with your request.

There is no forum or sub-forum, that handles steam Financial selections available, you will need to find another website for that.

Per the pinned thread:

"If you have come here to propose a suggestion for the Steam client, whether it be a new feature or an improvement of an existing one, or the Steam ecosystem, regarding policies, the store or the community features, you have come to the right place."

This is the right place for the suggestion. As for whether or not Valve will actually read this suggestion, that is a different story, but the same can be said of most suggestions here. I'm not sure where you got the idea that this board is excluded from suggestions related to the store or pricing regions beyond just making it up completely.

FOX's old post is out of date, and does not cover what is and what isn't allowed here. The updated Forum / sub-forum description booklet is up to date however.

Uh huh, and where is this "updated forum / sub-forum description booklet?"
As expected, no answer, because it does not exist.

While it is the suggestion forum, Valve likely has their own financial team/advisors, and is very unlikely they are consulting with the user forum regarding finances that they can verify somewhere reputable. If Valve followed our financial advice games would have indefinite refund window times and allow selling copies of our games to other users cutting in on both dev and valve profits.

From what Google provides

The Dominican Republic's pricing region varies by context, but it is often treated as part of the LATAM-USD region for digital services like gaming, while its local economy uses the Dominican Peso (DOP). Some platforms, however, default to the United States region due to a lack of a specific regional pricing strategy for the country.

The last portion likely being why it is defaulted to usd. In that case would be more fruitful speaking with who ever is local to resolve things on their side for the pricing strategy in your country.
