Stop SPAMMING me STEAM!
I'm being spammed. Stop it.

Also, why fill my notification feed with community messages from literally a decade ago?
It's ancient history, so why bring all this back up?

:yay: right back to your irrelavent response.
But it is interesting that you support spamming Steam customers.

Since I made this thread, less than an hour ago, I have gotten my 'bell' lit up 4 times with COMMUNITY MESSAGE.

Please. Stop. The. SPAM. Steam.
What do these community messages say?

They're from a decade ago. What does it matter?
Mostly me standing up to predatory Steam forum moderators on F2P (War Thunder, WOWS, etc) game forums. And getting banned with trumped up lies.

But again, why does that matter? I don't play predatory F2P games anymore. And judging by the plummeted review scores, most others don't either.

Edit: also, there are no new community messages. Suddenly I'm being spammed with old messages.

Just happened again 3 more times.
Fix it Steam. This is actual harassment.

Is any action actually being taken?

I wonder if someone is going through and clearing out old reports

I'm not sure I would know if any action is being taken.
But the spam has gone on for several days at least now.
And why do I need to be reminded of all these old (honestly fraud) bans anyway?
Just to fill my feed with trash and lies?

To bait me back here into discussions with full time 'not mods'. You people REALLY want me back here being all critical thinker? I wouldn't think so.

Customer's critical thinking is generally not good for Steam profits.

Well, the issue isn't going to be solved by posting in here.

Perhaps contact steam support to see what's up with the notifications

I've never received a ban, and I get near-daily community messages (that do show up) telling me that action has been taken on my reports.

I have seen some notifications get "stuck", but they're always fixed by exiting and re-opening the Steam client, or by going to the notification list and clicking the "mark all as read" button after I've gone through all the stuff that's actually new.

Definitely a bug they need to fix, but it's not some intentional thing to try to make you mad.

Well, good to know. Hopefully this will make it go away.
