Credit card verification
Can you tell me why I have to put credit card details to go to a store page for a game I OWN?! I can understand if I want to check out an adult game I don't own, but for all games I own, I should be able to go to the store page!

I think they just did the fastest and safest path
No one want to deal with the UK gov becouse they decide what you did was not good enguth, its a pain for sure, but it is what it is till things clear out and they can see where to step that is safe and where not

It's due to the UK, and Valve not wanting to handle private information and risk any kinds of leak of private information

only if you want to post in the forum, you dont need to verify to play owned games

They chose the option they could implement immediately, that requires them to store the least amount of personal user data, and that is least intrusive to the user's privacy.

also to point out in the UK only 65% of the population have a credit card there should be a secondary option for age verification cause as a 31 year old unable to access games because i am financially stable and don't require credit is rather stupid

This country has gone mad, I'm from a generation that taught "N'er a borrower nor lender be" so credit cards are frowned on, In my 60's but not adult enough to buy new seasons to some of the AVN stories i followed, Guess I,ll save my money and watch playthroughs on you tube for free then
