There is technically a patent already for mini-games in "loading screens."
aye may be people are not IT and so does not have the knowledge to understand logs files and sadly, for the same thing because of cost reduction, even for the support probably, so yeah we are may be in a front of wall.
i wonder who's got an good and usefull answer from the steam support about technical stuff outside ♥♥♥♥ banning reasons that any bozo can give without beeing a support ?
- i guess none ...
and this is the real problem .. outside solving blabla and ♥♥♥♥ linked by the steam guideline, they can't and will not do anything else.
valve is only counting on his community for solving technical issue and that's a shame imo ...( remember the growing index file ? )
but they are not the only company doing that ( mikeysoft is another good exemple of that .with it monthly issues about every pseudo "quality upgrade"....)
users are now more than users, but also , even if users do not want or agree, they are also beta tester of things (games , windows, steam ,etc )... - telemetry -
and none from the support will be able to help you on the current "steam overlay issue" because none on the support have the knowledge for that ....

no need to be an IT guy for that sorry ... ( for the ♥♥♥♥ guideline ... )
why do we need AQ ( that cost time, money and so on ) when we have tons of users available for that , and can repport their issues on forum without the need to test it before releasing it to public...
it's how our world is working nowaday on IT world , and that even if you are agree about that or not :
- it cost less and this is not a reproach because it is surely not part of what Valve is asking of them so they are just doing the job with it limit - so valve need to be blamed imo ....
giant company need to remind why they are on top, and keep in mind that companies's history is full of dead giant ...
how it is possible to have so incompetent people from the support like that ...
after all , we deserv what we need ...
