Right. I get wanting to avoid low effort "AI slop", but we're rapidly getting to a point where avoiding all AI stuff will be impossible, unless you just check out of society entirely and live in a shack out in the desert somewhere.
https://store.steampowered.com/tags/en/Artificial%20Intelligence/
Meanwhile, you're stuck partying with the dinosaurs.
Yeah, I Get how the AI slop crap is annoying, but someone should never claim it's in like nearly every game.
That's beyond silly and makes no sense.
That said, I thought there was a tag to filter or an option for AI.
Like I said, 80% of Dev houses are using AI coding tools and climbing. This is the part where they'll move the bars to say 'they only mean artists' and that's when you realise they haven't actually thought their position through and are just repeating whatever their favourite web comic author said.
no need to ignore "ai game" imo, as whetever you will think, expert system more named as "ai" will be more and more used for many kind of task during a game dev process and that by big or small studio for some part ( it could be some trailer, code, assets, sound , etc )..
and so be more and more powerfull and on the same time more and more difficult to discover.
and at the time of writting this, many tools are providing theses kind of feature and one of the best and well known is a graphic tool on the windows env ( adobe ) activly used for game dev and we are not talking here about chatgpt or claude, gemini, mistral but part of tool that is allready using expert system better known as "ai feature".
so finally what will you want to boycott ? people using this kind of tool or people using chatgpt and other "ai" because the other sources are not really usable by themselv outside making fake or short help stuff ( try to fully do a game with theses, you can't ) ?
a tag on the partner side of valve ( dev ) could be a nice suggestion also , and no need to tell wich part of the game used it ....
at least it's better to see theses system used by proffessional people than common joe like me for posting answers on a forum no ? ( just because it have an impact on envirronment so better make it usefull ...)
it does not mean it usage does not need to be regulated by law imo, because using chatgpt or any other "ai" for posting ♥♥♥♥,creating fake or any useless usage have an impact on our planet and so everyone living here now but mostly for the future ( aye co2 does not easily vanish and stay very long and just accumulate -everything you're doing now have an impact later ...)

and finally
-1 despite i am not a fan of "ai"
This. People are just looking to make a statement to AI creators.
not sur, i guess they just do not understand what "ai" means ...
