Ideally I would want it to be adjustable, so those who want to keep one game on their showcase and still have it say "Favorite Game" could do as they wish. But in my opinion having as many as 10 or more slots, as well as a configuration/setting to have them in a numbered order from best to worst, would be a perfect way to improve that specific showcase.
