Currently, Family View only recognizes games that belong to the user’s own library. Any games accessed through Family Sharing do not appear in the Family View setup list, meaning they cannot be selected or allowed individually.

This creates a limitation for users who want to let others play specific shared games on the same PC without exposing the rest of their library or sharing the Family View PIN.

It would be extremely useful if Steam allowed Family View to detect Family Shared titles, so they could be included in the “allowed games” list like owned ones. This would make Family View more flexible for shared households while keeping the same security level.
