Having a way to ban ads from gaming companies I no longer support
In the past few years, I've reached a breaking point with how much nonsense I can tolerate from game companies. EA has been on thin ice for a while (honestly, I’ve been looking for an excuse), but any game that constantly pushes micro transactions especially when they claim they're "not really doing that" or that it's "different" is now on my list.

We've seen multiple examples of indie games, with very little funding, delivering exceptional products. everything we allow past this point feeds the wrong behaviour.

We all know what the AAA companies will do next: buy them out. turn their great product into crap.

This is why meaningful change rarely sticks in any industry.

I'm just curious if we could get a filter to stop certain companies from being able to promote to me as a way for them to know at least a few of us are not OK with their BS anymore.

OK, rant done. (and yes i had to put this through chatgpt as you may expect i was little more spicy before the edit.) :steamfacepalm:

You can ignore certain publishers, but I don't believe any preference settings can override things like store page banners/events.
