This is the kind of thing that allowing Religious discussion has opened the floodgates to.

Report the posts that went off topic and block them.

The only reason that thread went off topic about religion is literally because you spent ages arguing with that user about it...

But otherwise, yes, religion (and politics) need to be banned again.

Game devs can allow or disallow politics and religion discussions in their hubs regardless of the general forums rules on it.

Game devs have creative control over their own projects and can put whatever they want into them. If people don't like a game because of one or more reasons, they can do what people have always done and just not buy it and move on.

There is zero need for political or religious discussion on this platform. The one exception to this are games that have politics and/or religion in-built to their product as part of the gameplay/story/lore (much of which has nothing to do with IRL politics).

That still wouldn't prevent a certain crowd to turn everything into "the lords will" and "according to the bible its a sin" arguments...

Personally I believe Steam should handle politically charged accounts who do nothing but sit around on the forums complaining about what others do with their product all day, or sit whining all day about what the opposing political party does.

No no, you claimed that I kept it going. I ended it early on. I would know, I reported 24 messages for religious spam. 21 of those were after I had stopped responding. I wasn't creating new posts to speak to the person in question.

So I'm asking you, what part did I play... in the 20 messages that some were an attempted response to me... by using the two posts that were there and no new ones... aside from just... filing reports?
