64-bit version of the steam client.
Oh might Gaben, please giveth us a 64-bit version of the almighty steam client. So I can run it on my Orange pi 5 MAX and have some serious fun with it.

You are aware that the Orange pi 5 MAX uses an ARM processor, right?
The Steam client doesn't natively run on ARM architecture.
The Steam client already runs most of its code in a 64-bit process, and any 64-bit game will use the 64-bit versions of Steam libraries.

Literally the only 32-bit code that Steam runs is the bootstrapper.

Good to know. It means it's only a matter of time a 64-bit version will be available to download.

Unless Valve changed it recently, Steam is a 32 Bit program on Windows.

Mainly because it wouldn't get any benefit from going 64Bit because it was able to run it all on a single core on even dated PCs.
