Not quite no. That implies new content.
I'm more saying that Steam should feature a stats ticker for games people play often to show activity in those games. Not just on updates.
For example, let's say I play Apex Legends. I barely ever see it on the store page because it's not getting a ton of updates. But it has 52,000 active players.
Apex shows up for players who do not own Apex. But I don't see it. This ironically gives the players who actually play the game the impression that it lacks visibility.
I'm more on about some visibility on activity for the game for players who play it. This is more like, a game seems like it has no visibility, so people lose interest. A self-fulfilling cycle.
If you mean play stats on the games store page, then sure. Though preferably collapsed. Store pages already feel bloated for me.
