You cannot turn off those elements because it is for everyone. It is not customisable.

Yes, just ignore him. He has a tendency to derail suggestion threads for seemingly no reason with utterly meaningless or nonsensical replies. Best to just block him.

Have you missed the threads where users complain about seeing developers, publishers they have blocked on the main store page, or the threads about the main store page during sales or events? If it was customisable they would be zero reason for those threads.

I think the whole point of OP's suggestion is to make it customisable. That's kind of point of any suggestion, to make changes to something, you know.

I know what the suggestion is but Valve have not shown any intention of making it so despite other previous threads asking for it to be.

Valve time is a thing, and since you are not a Valve employee you have no way to know what is or isn't planned. Either way, constantly replying to threads with nonsensical drivel that contributes nothing but to derail them is certainly something that one could refrain from doing. Rather than doing it in nearly every thread that one replies to.

If Valve saw it as having value they would not have ignored numerous threads about the same suggestion.

Secondly when Valve see value in a suggestion they implement it as they did when someone suggested patch notes should remain on downloads after they completed, rather than only being available before download.

You don't know if they're ignoring it or not. Maybe they have read it but cannot implement it right now for one reason or another.

How long are they going to recommend Ghost of Tsushima?
It's been on my Featured and recommended for months.
Same with Helldivers.
If I haven't bought them already I think it's time to move the train along.
I may pick them up on a massive discount one day so I don't want to add them to ignore.
