Random Game Picker

This may have been suggested before, so if so, my sincerest apologies. I did do a quick search and saw nothing in the first few pages.

I would love a 'random game selector' function that could be filtered by personalized collections.

Not sure what to play today, select 'all games', 'installed games', 'roguelites', 'games x friend also owns'

then click a button, and it will randomly (wheel of fortune style maybe) pick a game for you to play.

My friends and i have said this for years. we have resorted to external apps that link to steamdb or manually created wheels of fortune type websites. But it would be cool to have something integrated, so you don;t have to go externally.

People suggested it for years and all we got was the Play Next shelf.

I remember the old Spring Cleaning events that had a similar randomizer which turned into the Play Next shelf. It was called the Spin Cycle.

Put your Steam ID profile (games list must be public) and it will calculate your account value. Then scroll down below and there's a box called "What about a random game?" If you don't like the suggestion, click on "I don't want to play this" on the box.

This was another oldie that I used to recommend to choose random games...
