Would be nice to have a light mode or something

I mean, forums, screenshots and all that stuff is nice but would be nice to have all these features disabled (an option for it I mean)

Yeah, but the community features are still not disabled though

Did you disable Community content in the steam settings under library tab?

Steam Menu

Settings

click on library tab

turn off Community Content

No no, what I am saying is to completly get rid of it once in light mode...

Like getting rid completly of all the community features if you enter light mode, meaning that you cannot access the activity, workshop and so on even if you wanted (well, until you quit light mode ofc)

You know, an actual light mode... The current light mode just makes the window smaller but does not really get rid of anything and doesnt reduce ram usage

do you mean light (as in the opposite of dark) or light (as in the opposite of heavy)?

it sounds like you mean the latter, in which case, go to View->Small Mode. it completely removes all community features and most graphics.
