Hello, I would simply like to give some feedback on the recent redesign of the Steam store and how to improve it.

My main gripes with the new design are how obviously it is designed for mobile phones, even on desktop. Everything is centered, there are huge open and unsused spaces on the sides. I would like to see these spaces be used. Maybe allocate more space for the important things that are now more crammed together in the middle? Especially in the discovery section (where you can filter games based on price, genre etc.) the entries themselves are so big and centered making them appear to be crammed together. If we used the open spaces on the sides more, here, in the storefront and in general, it would make for a much better desktop interface.
