steam credit idea
if all the payment processors won’t let you buy certain games because of collective shout, why can’t we just switch to steam credit outright

As explained in all of the other threads; the content simply being on the store itself is what would result in visa/mc etc removing Valve from being able to use their brand. Thus, like all of the other identical suggestions, this would not "bypass" the issue.

The money you put in your Steam wallet is already Steam credit.
Won't solve the issue.

Yeah turns out the financial middlemen have already thought of all the clever workarounds. Sorry. it's not such an easy problem to solve.
