Yeah, it's annoying when your options don't stick. The new helpfulness filter is supposed to hide the useless meme reviews, though. You might want to check whether you unclicked that. If not, maybe try reporting the meme reviews. Valve said in that announcement that they use reports to help determine whether a review is useful.

It's worthless; the meme reviews always have more upvotes.

Or to only allow reviews after 2hs of gametime, when the refund can't be done anymore.

I'm sick and tired of stupid reviews written after just 0.1 hours that are mostly memes or not useful. The play time filter partially solves the issue, but you have to activate it every time, which is annoying

OP, I do agree that review filters should have an option to keep preferences.
