Ah, going into a game hub, trashing it, being shown the door. Right. Well, game devs can run their hub how they see fit, provided they aren't being grossly abusive.

If you are talking about community content (like discussion forums) then it's all up to devs, they can make a rule "if you say banana you get a ban" and valve wont interfere

Yeah, using false concern as a means to introduce a point just to use it to bash a studio/game doesn't end well. Especially the moment when pushback is met, people are accused of being "glazers" and "rabid fans".

Valve has held that devs are not subject to the Steam community rules within their own hubs.

People should not point out any "trash behavior," because those are libelous or defamatory statements and that's against the code of conduct:
