This has been suggested for years now yet still not effort has been made, I don't know if it's laziness or the underlying infrastructure being outdated that the option still isn't available.

Valve provides all these options to customize your profile and a lot of it involves spending money, yet something simple as hiding a game badge isn't available.

Whether you care or disagree about the suggestion it doesn't matter, having the option doesn't take anything away from you.

Some badges just look out of place and/or plain ugly, the option to hide the game badge from public just like we have the option to hide some community badges would go a long way.

Even the option to delete a game completely and by proxy all the achievements, badges associated with it would help. A user could rebuy the game and start anew.
