steam experience feedback

Deciding which game i want is rather easy with the way Steam organized the store fronts, but does any game really need to be in every Genre?

I mean, sure a game can also have more than one, if not all in one game experience but it's so ridiculous for me to sort through the same games in every Genre and tag over and over again on the Steam pages that highlight a specific quality of style.

I don't need to ignore it because i do like them it's just not something i was looking for, and my wish list and history shouldn't get in the way of finding something new. That's what New really is right!

When i go shopping for something, it doesn't catch my eye which genre it's in. I'm not saying i'd go to walmart to buy my hunting gear either, but the genre or tag just makes me biased for good and bad reason the same and every time when the same game shows up in any new genre that i've previously went through, I just swipe to the left.

I'd like to see how many games there are that are in fact difficult not which games are categorized. If i liked the game I would click it and i'd find out more. I wouldn't scroll on by all games just to find the genre.

That's what search is for, but not even that works for some genre's and user generated tags so it seems but have it own pages. lol

I hope this helps all.

I'm sure there's someone or many who only want just one type of genre of game. I'm just saying why create a page of genre's with the same games in everyone?

Obviously every game has a major experience and it should be listed there always. sub-types should take a back seat if show casing in my opinion. I wouldn't go looking for modern games to find a Voxal Art game right?

It's the story the game is set in which is the Main experience and Genre. which ever it is. Like you act and do, or you command and conquer.
