When I load up Steam, I have it go to the news screen. This screen used to use the full width of my monitor. Just a standard 16x9 widescreen monitor. Now it seems it no longer does that. Was there an update that changed how it's displayed?

I'm not sure why the interface on PC leaves so much unused space. The only part of the Steam interface I appreciate is the Library page which utilises the full screen. I used to appreciate the news screen as well when it used the full screen.

Any plans to eventually update the interface so full screen space can be used?
