Steam points purchase confirmation
I have been scrolling trough the points store looking for something good for my profile, I was logged I'm my phone and while checking on a animated mini background I tried to close it but pressed the wrong button and ended up buying it, with no confirmation menu pre-purchase, terrible design in my opinion, and apparently I cannot get my points back from a purchase I did not intend to do, this must be changed to avoid further problems other players might have with this.

Its only points not money which is not hard to get back.
Its stated in the Points Store for us to read..
The Points Shop is here to stay, now open all year round.
Items from the Points Shop are not marketable or tradeable.

Since there is no monetary value attached to the points, Steam is not required to offer a refund system for point shop items.

Good thing the OP didn't suggest a refund system. Quite an awkward comment to make, I wonder if it could have been avoided by actually reading the thread for once.

Do you have anything better to do than to run around harassing me?

Also the OP mentions being unable to get their points back for something they didn't mean to buy.....so uh yeah they did mention a refund.
Maybe YOU need to learn to read?

They did say that they can't get their points back, but they did not suggest a refund system. The suggestion is in the title: "Steam points purchase confirmation"

Purchase confirmation =/= refund.

They're still not asking for a refund. You need to read the full context:

Notice the OP is complaining about "no confirmation menu" (hence the title of the thread), if you actually read the full thread, which again - is something you always struggle to do, it is obvious the OP is not talking about a refund, just an additional confirmation window/prompt.

You just want affirmation but what people like you forget is that this is a DISCUSSION board not an AFFIRMATION board so people are allowed to say when responses to suggestions are wastes of time.

I don't care about the points, I never said I want the points back, I'm aware they're non-refundable, what I want is a two step purchase confirmation.
It always did seem odd that there isn't any further confirmation when spending Steam points. Having the customer verify they actually want to buy an item seems like a reasonable ask.
