Filters in Searches and Collections (AND/OR)
I was wondering if maybe it was possible to add an option to make filters in searches in collections be OR rather than AND. For example, if I make a dynamic collection, I want to select all games which are either multiplayer, Co-op or Support remote play. But when I activate those filters, hardly any games are left in the selection because it tries to select games which support all three things simultaneously. So... it becomes a pretty useless function for me.
Generally, more specific search options for tags would be great in the store as well (for example: looking for games which are "RPG" and "anime" but exclude "mobile", or something like that. You get the idea.

Yes! It would be wonderful to get some more customization in dynamic collections. Another cool thing to put into them would be the ability to exclude specific games from the collection.

Excluding would also be great! Generally more selections to customize. Same with the search function on the home page. The tags are a good start, but they function the same way...

Using the current filters they open automatically to that filter you set.
If you want to change it tick another
filter for remote ply shows games that support remote play together.

If I tick Mullti Plaey or Co op it will list the games all games from all collections even it if be in Dynamic.
Seems a good solution as is?

I think you haven't really understood my issue, sorry :o I want to combine filters, but not with AND, but OR. If I select more than one filter, it looks for games which have BOTH attributes, rather than one or the other. Which kind of makes the filter unusable for me :/

I agree, we need OR, and also NOT. I've been hoping for those kind of choices from the start.

I also have what I think is a great idea (really though), to be able to choose how deep the tags go, so say you had a slider and you set it to 3, it would only show games if that tag was in the top 3 tags for that game. That would make it so you could basically focus the filter to show games that better fit the category, if you wanted a more broad search, you would set it to 5 or 7. Say you put RPG as the tag and then set it to top 3 tags, you wouldn't get games like Tomb-Raider, and would only get real RPG's instead of all games that have some RPG elements. Not sure if I'm explaining it right but basically since so many people add incorrect tags (in my opinion), this would allow you to limit your search to only the most popular tags.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but I've been thinking about being able to prioritize the top tags for a while, but I'm scared to start my own topic and felt this is in the same realm. I totally agree though we need more logic options for the filter.

That's actually not a bad idea and ties in nicely with more specific filtering options in general. There are a lot of shenanigans going on with keywords in general, this might prevent more "phony" tagging from showing up (or reduce tag manipulation).

This defaults to AND. OR and NOT would be very helpful.

Bumping for +1
Also missing is software and tools filters.

Edit: In my case, I wanted to create a dynamic collection for software and tools currently installed. I like to keep my games list showing everything (installed or not) so I can pick something different to play when I'm bored. But if I enable "tools" on that side bar listing, I then get around 105 tools that are currently not installed and likely never will be (mainly dedicated servers).

Bumping for +1 as well
Generally filter types: AND, OR, NOT as well as store tags filters affecting also manual collections would be very nice to see in future updates.

This would be very helpful, I assumed "or" would be the default as in, Include all the tags you want to see.

I wanted to know what all my games were that had Local Multiplayer/ Local Co-op or multiplayer for playing over Christmas but that's not possible here.
Please add this option

Excellent idea!

How can it be that OR combinations for tags are not possible in dynamic collections after all these yers.
Next needed thing would be exclusions.

+1 +1 +1 +1 NEED this, been saying it for years, can't believe they haven't added it after this long, such a simple feature too considering they already have AND, why did they go ahead and make dynamic collections a thing if they were going to just half-ass it and neglect it.. Boo!
