Hardware survey- regarding VR
Hi team Steam.
I had a survey request pop up from steam, and i said yes again.
this time i have HTC vive, but im not using it right now and its unplugged from the PC.
Your hardware survey says no VR detected, which might reduce the numbers of users you think have it.
might i suggest some optional box to say- do you have VR Y/N and you might get a different end-result in terms of stats.
just a thought, otherwise have a nice day.

Thats actually a good idea, if I had VR setup, I wouldn't be keeping it plugged in all the time either because I wouldn't be using it all the time.

Why not plug it in and do another survey?

Because it randomly comes up, I dont know how to "force" a survey. and frankly, im not going to turn on and plug in everything just for a quick survey.

Same, I have a Vive, HTC wireless, etc but it says I don't have VR. Probably needs updating to be more accurate. If I have steamVR and vr games, maybe store a log that I have used a Vive?

This happens to me too.
It just popped up, so I quickly plugged in my Quest 3 and started the survey from inside VR.
But its still says no Vr Headset.
I can't find any ware to report this bug.
