Half life launcher has stopped working!!!
I downloaded paranoia for hl1 which crashed a couple of times and eventually something happened and every time I try to load a game I get an error message saying "Half-life launcher has stopped working" and it closes. I tried almost everything and now I am very pissed off...HELP!

The mod probably caused an error in one of your local files. Have you already tried verifying your game cache to get the complete working version from Steam again? (Right click on the game title > Properties > Local Files > Verify...)

I didn't get halflife from steam.

I heard Paranoia might even cause an unexpected steam vac ban if its not handled right (when you change back to HL1 there is a setting... or else). But thats also assuming legit HL1. Fix that problem first and then talk to the Paranoia team if you still have an issue.
