yes i used the same password all the time and everything is lost

all my games and friends. I have garry's mod on my desktop but it wont let me play it. When ever i sign in it says that I have to purchase the game.

Why did you sign out?; trying to get some idea here...

my brother signed in to his account to look and something and then he signed out. I then signed in to my account and everthing was gone.

yes and i even restarted my laptop and it still wouldn't work.

Shut down Steam, delete the clientregistry.blob file in your Steam folder. Try it again...

where would the steam folder be located. im kind of new to this stuff

your account says you only have ONE game, and it's a f2p title (gotham imposters...)

I've never heard of games magically dissapearing from your account without serious reasons.

Although Silicon Vampire might prove me wrong.

i think ive made another account in the past and i forget the password to that one and then i made a new one with everything on it. I used the same password and user name for the account i always and it always worked. but just today i started having this problem. if you search zsuleiman12 there should be another account that says ZSULEIMAN and that is the one i use. Even changed the passwords for one of them and yet it still doesnt work.

When you log in and can get to the settings window make sure "Don't save account credentials on this computer" is not checked. (just a hunch)

Also when logged in, make sure the user name at the top right is correct.

If it isn't go to the Steam menu bar and pick "Change User..."

I doubt I will. I suspect he has created this account back in Sept., maybe even by accident, and it has nearly the same name and the same password.

But I wanted to try this...
