Steam Store Glitchy as ****
I'm not sure if I'm the only one with the problems, but if I am, I'm hoping for a solution. First off, thank you for reading this. When I try to use the steam store, everything is glitchy as all hell-- half the time the background doesn't load and the cart icon in the top right won't appear even though it contains two items. When I try to download said two items, it gets to the cart page, but when I press the buy button to go to the check out page, it just doesn't load. All I see is the steam background and a big gray box where text and buying information should be. I've restarted steam and my computer and cannot find similar problems. Please help me? Thank you.

Have you tried it through a browser?

I've tried to log in through a browser, but I get to the sign in page, type in my user and password, then it just doesn't continue. I pressed the sign in button once, waited a few minutes, tried again, waited a few minutes, then pressed it as much as possible in frustration. Nothing. Are the servers just overloaded?
Perhaps you have an older machine/OS. Check you meet (and greatly exceed where possible) these minimum system requirements for steam itself. (Its also useful to install Flashplayer to watch the vids on the store page)

Here there are... copied from the steam client download page ( http://store.steampowered.com/about/?snr=1_4_4__11 ):

System Requirements

Windows XP, Vista, or 7
512 MB RAM
1 Ghz or faster processor

Intel Mac, OS X version Leopard 10.5.8, Snow Leopard 10.6.3, or later.
Two-button mouse strongly recommended

1GB HD space (recommended)
Internet connection (broadband recommended)

Well, my problem is resolved. I guess it was just the server being overloaded. And DarkCrystalMethod, your intentions were good, but I'm pretty sure everyone has at least 512 megs of RAM and at least Windows XP xD
