"Send a gift" Title?
Wanted to get my friend a game and I also wanted it, bought the game and gifted it to him but didnt get the little achievement. Nothing to crazy but I just thought it was kind of lame.

The gift must have been one of the holiday sale discounted ones purchased DURING the sale(while on holiday discount) and stored in your inventory or sent directly to someone else. If you already had it and sent it you get no minchievement.

I bought the Portal 2 pack that was a copy for me and it also came with an extra copy to gift to a friend

2-, 3-, and 4- packs don't count towards the achievement. You have to actually buy it as "Buy as a gift".
