Not enough disk space?
With over 800gigs of free space why would I get the "not enough disk space" message when I try to install games? It won't even let me reinstall steam. Maybe because I'm running Windows 8?

You probably need to run steam itself as administrator because step 1 is to install DirectX and the other usual stuff. After that works, run as normal. This message usually has nothing to do with disk space.
