What is the steam holiday badge?!
So i completed the Steam Holiday Badge 2012 (just now, got 4 out of 6, which is still completed). What does it do? is it just a useless badge that you cant use?
also i completed the other one too "Pillar of the Community" i think, what does that do?
Please explain, sorry if its a stupid question :)

It's a funny looking badge that sits by your profile. Only useful for bragging rights.
All badges are the same.

The Pillar of the Community gave early access to the Steam Beta Client... or was it the Steam Client Beta... Also I still have two coupons for Steam Beta something...
And thats all completely different from the opting in to the beta from the settings screen.
And even more different from the Linux beta.
I'm glad they explained this so well... B^)
