I have had to resort to other cards. Strangely pre-paid visa debit cards work for me.
Does anyone want to name banks? If we raise a big enough fuss maybe they can fix it, or close our accounts for being roudy...

Those are just 3 links which all state that credit cards are better for online purchases. Maybe your bank over in Australia does it differently, but for me credit cards have always been the standard.
Also, debit cards draw directly from your bank account, whereas I can review all credit card purchases first and contest any suspicious transactions before it actually draws from my checking account.
yes i agree with you but some people don't have a job yet and have no need of a credit card so they get a debit card, and i have the same problem too with my debit card, I CANT PAY ANYMORE!!!!!!!
