how to add vindictus to my steam libary if i got the game of a friend?
My friend gave me vindictus (which he download off steam) of his external hd and i'm wondering how to add it to my steam libary.

I have already put the vindictus folder in my steamapps directory.

I'm pretty sure the only thing you need to do at this point (assuming you put your friend's backup files in the right spot) is initiate the download from steam. Steam will see the files and do a quick compare to make sure its all there. You might have his computers graphics settings,etc so expect to adjust them for your own computer.

If he had started the steam download right after posting, he would have the game installed by now even considering not having the backup files ready.
Whats the status K3dvidia? Did everything work out?

Well he's now played the game for 0.5 hours so I assume he's got it sorted out.
